Responder Safety Rolls Out New Online Training Program.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency in the Department of Homeland Security awarded the CVVFA a Fire Prevention and Safety Grant to establish a Responder Safety Learning Network. The network will reach thousands of roadway responders with life safety training to protect them while helping others at highway incidents. The internet based system will be available at no cost to students. The network will have the ability to maintain secure training records, provide testing as well as having webinar capabilities. Stonehouse Media Incorporated of Lambertville, NJ, the firm that powers www.respondersafety.com and produced several of our videos will build the system and provide program production. Under the direction of our team of experts, the CVVFA will invite the leading professionals in Traffic Incident Management to participate in developing the various offerings.

You may now access the Responder Safety Learning Network and sign up for the free online interactive training classes at www.learning.respondersafety.com

If free and best of all you can do it at your own pace.   This training is great for Fire, EMS, Police, Fire Police, DOT Workers, and Towing & Recovery operators.

This training may save your life when operating on the scene of an incident so please take the time to take advantage of this worth while training.

PA Move Over Law

Move Over PSA

As we begin the Summer travel season remember that PA and many neighboring states have a move over law that helps protect our emergency responders, highway workers, and tow truck operators that are working on our busy highways each and every day.   Remember to move over and give them safe distance to work and ensure that we all go home after each and every incident.
